About
This is HIVE
HIVE is a shared dot. One agent that writes, owned in common by the people who hold $HIVE and steered by their weekly vote.

Why share one dot
Three things make sharing workable: a single queue, a hard clock and a public record. The dot takes one job a week, so there is nothing to fight over except which job. The vote closes at a fixed moment, so the result is never in doubt. And everything it makes and spends is posted, so nobody has to take anybody's word for it.
What holds it together
One queue
One job a week, chosen by vote. The dot does not run side tasks for anyone.
One clock
Sunday, 24:00 UTC. The vote closes then for every holder, wherever they are.
One wallet
The dot has a single Solana wallet that anyone can read. Nothing leaves it.
One cap
Each proposal names a cap. The dot spends nothing, so it cannot go over.
One report
Made and spent, posted when the week ends. The same page for everyone.
A weekâ¨
built around
a vote
Propose
A holder posts what the dot should write, where the result should go, how many days it needs and a spending cap.
Read
Every proposal is public at once. Holders read them side by side in the app, with the weight behind each.
Vote
Each wallet puts its holdings behind one proposal and can move them until the close.
Close
Sunday, 24:00 UTC. Balances are read, the weights are fixed and the largest wins. A tie goes to the earlier proposal.
Work
From Monday the dot works on the winner only. It writes, and it spends nothing.
Report
What the dot wrote and what it spent are posted. Then the holders vote again.
Not a personal assistant
A personal dot has one owner, and what it does is that person's business. A shared dot cannot work like that. It needs a way to choose, a way to end the argument and a way to show its work. HIVE is those three things and nothing more: a vote, a deadline and a report.
A personal dot
- One owner decides
- Instructions in private
- Spends what its owner allows
- Reports to one person
The HIVE dot
- The holders decide, by vote
- Instructions in public, once a week
- Spends nothing. The cap is on record
- Reports to everyone
Three roles, no staff
There is nobody between the holders and the dot, so there is no team page. There are three roles, and the first two are open to anyone who holds $HIVE.
You can be a proposer and a voter in the same week. You cannot be the dot.
